Another great rivalry in the 80's was between Cyndi Lauper and Madonna. As we all know, Madonna is still in the limelight while Cyndi is now inactive from the music scene. Cyndi Lauper was one of the biggest stars of the early MTV era, selling five million copies of her debut album, "She's So Unusual".
and a hit single, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun".
